December 7th 2025
Unwind before the madness of the Christmas season envelops you! Practice 1 hour of restorative and Yin Yoga to settle the nervous system after a busy year, a beautiful Soundbath and breath work hour experience with myself and the fabulous Melanie from integratedhealingwithmelanie. Enjoy homemade mince pies and mulled wine to finish and leave floating on air! Our workshop will begin at 3pm and end at 5.30pm. This workshop usually books up every year so please make sure to book well in advance!!

January 9th-11th Weekend Retreat:
New Year, restore, relax, rejuvenate, set new Intentions for 2026 but most importantly, take some much needed time for you to let go after the busy season that is Christmas.
During this weekend retreat come and delve more into the practice of yoga and learn how to regulate your nervous system through practices of yoga, sauna, cacao cermony, breathwork, meditation, sound bath, journalling, lake swim and walks in nature. This weekend will support our physical, emotional and spiritual selves in the depths of Winter and in particular after the busy season of Christmas. You will set intentions for the year 2026 and burn in the fire what you would like to leave behind.

The Living Intuitively with Cara Retreat weekend will be filled with movement (walks, yoga, sea/lake swimming), sauna by the lake, amazing food, meditation and selfcare practices inspired by Ayurveda. My retreat will tap into our feminine energy where you can expect both yin and yang movement classes, breath work, sound mediation, nature walks, women’s circle, journal work and optional sea/lake swimming.
Arrival times Friday 9th: from 3pm to Sunday 11th 12pm.
Accommodation: Eco Sky Dome Yurts
Meals: breakfast, snacks, lunch & dinner all included.
All vegetarian.
Optional Sea Swim/ Beach walk and hike.
Trips to Some of Ireland's most beautiful blue-flag beaches are within a short drive; Rossnowlagh and Tullan Strand.
Retreat Price: €450 per person in a shared yurt of 3.
Each Yurt has 4 single beds but I will be keeping it to 3 in each Yurt on this retreat
First Deposit: €225 is required when booking

Cancellations within 30 days of the retreat start date (9th December) are non-refundable.
Cancellations up to 30 days of the retreat start date, part of initial deposit paid of €80 to hold your spot is non-refundable.

About the yurts:
SKY DOME YURT LIFE
There is nothing quite like staying in a Yurt. A simple yet magical dwelling with wooden lattice walls and radial rafters, it evokes a sense of the exotic. All Yurts are well-spaced ensuring seclusion and privacy. Each is luxuriously furnished with a comfortable seating area and they are individually styled with sheepskins, cosy Donegal tweed woollen blankets, heavy 15 Tog duvets, fluffed pillows and crisp white linen. All have beautiful views of lake, mountain and forest. There are 4 single beds per Yurt available.
THE LODGE
The Lodge is a communal amenity & social hub for retreat guests. It has a very large space area perfect for our movement classes, including toilets and hot showers. Its main feature however is the striking Reciprocal Room, a lounge area bathed in light with spiralling beams overhead, offering sweeping views of lake, forestry and mountains.
February 8th:
Our first day retreat of 2026!! This is going to be a popular one as we will not have had a mini day retreat sine November! We will meet at Belmont close to Greystones and hike up the back of the Small Sugarloaf and around Belmont whilst enjoying our box of homemade goodies at the top and making our way down to the studio Rise up and Dance on the Southern cross for our 1.5 hour hatha/vinyasa and yin yoga class. We will enjoy a full veggie feast from my home and then make our way to Greystones for an optional sauna and cold plunge with The Barrel Sauna. You will leave relaxed and ready to take on the week ahead!!

Workshop The Inner Spring-Follicular Phase- Maiden Energy
The Spring Equinox, marking the start of spring, is often associated with themes of rebirth, renewal, and fertility, which can be powerfully connected to the cyclical nature of a woman's life and her own seasons of growth, change, and renewal. It's a time to honor the feminine energy, embrace new beginnings, and release what no longer serves, mirroring the natural world's awakening after winter.
Ayurvedic Dosha: Kapha balancing
Themes: Renewal, creativity, clarity
* Focus: Light, energizing movement to awaken the body post-menstruation
* Yoga: Uplifting vinyasa, core strength, heart-opening
* Pranayama: Bhastrika or Kapalabhati (energizing)
* Ayurveda Tips: nutrition for the season, dry brushing; daily routine establishment

We will journal, we will share, we will sip on cacao as a ceremony together and we will flow through an uplifting yoga flow!

March 22nd 2026:
Enjoy a day of yoga, hiking, yummy food, chats and a sauna to finish. These are monthly retreats, and such popular days out. You will meet likeminded people, keen to take some time out for themselves and enjoy each others company, a 1.5 hour class of yoga, a 2/2.5 hour hike, boxes of homemade goodies, a full veggie lunch. This retreat will begin from the Belmont Way carpark, near Avoca on the N11 Kilmacanogue. We will hike up and around the great Sugarloaf which takes about 2.5 hours. We will enjoy our homemade goodies at the top before embarking on our journey back down to enjoy 1.5 hours of yoga from Rise up and Dance on the Southern Cross. We will have a lovely veggie feast at my home before finishing with our optional sauna in the Barrel Greystones. The day begins at 9.15am and comes to an end at 3.45pm.

Kids are just about to go back to school and you are well and truly shattered and in need of a break! The Easter mini day retreat brings us back to my favourite hike which includes an optional river swim at Djouice Wood Lake Walk. Enjoy a day of yoga, hiking, yummy food, giggles and chats. These are monthly retreats, and such popular days out. You will meet likeminded people, keen to take some time out for themselves and enjoy each others company, a 1.5 hour class of yoga, a 2.5-3 hour hike, warm cacao, boxes of homemade treats, a full veggie brunch. This retreat will be from Rise up and Dance where we will practice some morning opening yoga, a full veggie brunch from my home before our hike up Djouce Lake Wood walk where you will enjoy some delicious homemade goodies to finish the day. The day begins at 9.30am and comes to an end at 3.45pm.

April 24th-26th 2026:
The Final Days of Spring Retreat takes place in the historic 600 acres of forest and woodlands of Lisnavagh House in Carlow on April 24th-26th 2025. This is an invitation to turn towards summer and by turning inwards and shedding the layers of winter & spring. This will all be about renewing and opening up. Our yoga will be based on energising, awakening and opening up by day and slow focused liver sequencing Yin Yoga night. By giving your yourself a break from your daily routine and to tap into a space of calm and tranquility. It is about resting, going inwards so we build strength within the body & mind to set us up for the next few months of being out & about and in the world more than we had been through the hibernation of Autumn and Winter.
Join me for a weekend of nourishment and selfcare with yoga twice daily, Hatha/Vinyasa by morning, yin by night. Begin your day with a morning meditation, journaling, dipping in the lake and walking through the surrounding forests. Saturday night we will also have a powerful Sound bath and breathwork session followed by a small fire ceremony. Lisnavagh is on 600 acres so there is a lot of space to saunter around. There will be plenty of opportunity for alone time & space. All meals are also included in the price below. The beautiful studio space is fully equipped with mats, bolsters, blankets. There is also the opportunity to book in for a treatment during free time (at an extra cost).
Enjoy nourishment from the gardens of Lisnavagh as well as local, organic, vegetarian food. The options are to share but why not treat yourself to a single occupancy four poster bedroom. Lie back and take time and space for yourself. Big fires crackle in the Dining Room and in the Library each person will find comfy sofas to curl up in with a good book. This is a well earned "look after me" time and it is our aim to help each person to slow down their pace of life and rejuvenate their body by stepping away from worries and stresses.
Price:
Today you are paying a non-refundable deposit of €150 which secures your place on this retreat. The final payment is due by February 30th. There are both bedrooms in the main house and the Courtyard or stable bedrooms. The main house bedrooms are ultimate luxury, some are ensuite and some share a bathroom with a beautiful bath and/or shower. The Courtyard bedrooms are double with ensuite bathroom, The Courtyard bedrooms are priced as follows - single occupancy = €550 per person or shared = €500. The main house bedrooms are priced as follows single occupancy = €650 or shared €550. Please indicate in a private email which room you would like to occupy.
If you decide to come as a small group, there is also the option of a small self-catering cottage on the property. The cottage has two bedrooms - one double bed room, one small bedroom with bunk bed with double bed on bottom. The cottage also has one bathroom. The price per person for the cottage is €380 per person sharing so this may suit some better financially.

2 night weekend stay (Lisnavagh Stables Courtyard or House) Note that the single rooms in the main house are booked but I have two twin rooms in the mainhouse and courtyard double en-suite stable rooms available.

My FINAL mini day retreat before the summer and i will be taking a retreat hiatus for the summer to be home with the kids more. You will need this mini day break before they are all landing on you for the summer!! Enjoy a day of yoga, hiking, yummy food, giggles and chats. These are monthly retreats, and such popular days out. You will meet likeminded people, keen to take some time out for themselves and enjoy each others company, a 1.5 hour class of yoga, a 2.5-3 hour hike, warm cacao, boxes of homemade treats, a full veggie brunch. This retreat will begin from Rise up and Dance on The Southern Cross in Bray with a summer opening yoga class for 1.5 hours. We will then go to my home for a yummy summer brunch style feast! After brunch, we will all drive to Djouice Mountain for a longer hike. I will have a box of yummy homemade goodies that you can enjoy from the top. This day begins at 9.15 and comes to an end by 3.45pm.

Workshop: The Inner Summer-Ovulation/Radiance
The summer equinox, the longest day of the year, can be linked to the ovulation phase of a woman's menstrual cycle. This phase, occurring roughly in the middle of the cycle, is characterized by high energy and confidence, similar to the vibrancy and activity of summer. Just as the summer solstice marks a peak in daylight, ovulation marks a peak in estrogen and testosterone levels, leading to heightened physical and mental capabilities.
By understanding these cycles, women can better align their activities and energy levels with their bodies' natural rhythms, leading to a more balanced and fulfilling life.
